Meet EAW: Jamie

Sunday Mar 10th, 2024 Meet EAW

EAW Meet Jamie
Jamie's a veteran service industry professional and very afraid of clowns.

This is the second in an occasional series where we introduce you to the people that make Erie Ale Works..well, work. Meet Jamie Finotti, an Erie native that's been with us for quite a while, and is a veteran of our local service industry. We asked her a few questions the other day:

Why do you enjoy working at Erie Ale Works?

The atmosphere. My coworkers and the patrons/guests who come in are amazing and have become like a second family and home. To sound cliché, it’s Cheers, a place where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came.

What's your favorite EAW beer and why?

Do I have to pick just one!? The Forbidden Froöt series is always a slam dunk in my book no matter what the flavor profile. Cold Leftovers, however, has been a go-to for me since it hit our lines! Its well-balanced citrus flavor makes it such an easy drinking beer and one I keep going back to.

What is one thing people may not know about you that you're comfy sharing?

I have an absurdly irrational fear of clowns and heights. I also love to bake cupcakes and cook; I’ve actually had some professional culinary training.

What is your go-to favorite restaurant/bar in town, and what do you order?

I’m a total foodie! I love trying new local restaurants and food trucks. My favorite go-to restaurant unfortunately closed in 2020 - Nunzi’s. If I could order it again it would be cheese ravioli with extra marinara, 2 meatballs and fried zucchini on the side!

Meet EAW Jamies Snacklebox
Jamie's "Snacklebox" is always impressive with various snacks that could be re-branded as an Adult Lunchable.

What's your daily carry?

My purse is the proverbial Barney/Mary Poppins bag of stuff, but I always have my giant 40 ounce water tumbler with me and if you’ve seen me at EAW, then add the notorious “snackle-box” to the list!

What do you like to do outside of your EAW life? Expand as you feel necessary.

I work fulltime as an Adolescent Substance Abuse and Recovery Counselor for Pyramid Healthcare.  I spend a lot of my free time with my family, friends, and my dog Owie Rigatoni. I play summer rec-league softball, read whenever possible (I’m trying to read 52 books this year), and love to catch any live sporting event or concert when I can.

If you were a pro wrestler, what's your entrance song?

Come Baby Come by K7.
